strange log messages

Hi together, after i installed blockhosts i can see a lot of the following entrys in the messages log:

Apr 18 18:35:37 paulchen xinetd[2013]: warning: can't get client address: Connection reset by peer
Apr 18 18:35:37 paulchen xinetd[2013]: warning: /etc/hosts.deny, line 8: Unable to handle client address: unknown

line 8 in /etc/hosts.deny looks like this:

ALL: 84.56.141.54 : DENY

so for each entry from blockhosts in the hosts.deny i get time to time warnings in the messages log file

any hints what i am missing ?

hi,

did anyone find a fix for the problem? i get the same strange error even if i am running the newst version of denyhosts (2.6) on my SUSE 10.3.

my config looks like this and becomes generated automatically by the python script:

...
ALL: 67.228.101.50
ALL: 80.246.59.184
ALL: 77.247.158.162
...
