The TeX font has been created by Lakshmi V. S. Mukkavilli, and is part of a complete telugu typesetting system called TeluguTeX. TeluguTeX has been developed by Lakshmi V. S. Mukkavilli, and she also holds the copyright to that software.
The TeluguTeX package contains extensive documentation regarding this font, it was a great help in adapting the telugu font for use with ITRANS.
The TeluguTeX package contains many font sizes and variations--it also includes all the source Metafont files, so any Metafont user can create her own font variations.
As packaged in the tlgutx.tar.Z package, there are TFM and PK files for these font sizes: 10, 11, 12, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 55, 72 and 172. Certain fancy versions (telspa, telspb, and telspc) are also available. Most font sizes come in bold and slanted versions.
This document has made use of the tel12, tel12s, tel12nx, and tel18 fonts.
