Hi Nisha,
You probably don’t remember me. I talked to you a LONNNNNNNNNNNNG time ago to see if you wanted to come to a conference I was on the board for um back in like 2000-2001. Well, I found you again! I was wondering if you could email me because I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be a part of a panel for another conference. I know you must be busy, but wow…that was scary you can find someone so quickly via google. Probably does say much, which means that I’m probably an easy find on Google too. Anyways…please email me when you have a chance so I can fill you in on this conference and see if you’re interested (don’t want to fill your blog up with meaningless stuff )
Cool end of the world scenario animatic. Somehow I think Israel Pakistan and India would have much more to say then “whatever” you know? Its cool just the same. I especially love the bit with the Aussies. Poor aussies oh well!
Hey there, Nisha-
I don’t know if you’re gonna remember me either! My name is Shilpa Sunthankar- I was one of your Key Grips on Popcorn. I really like your weblog, and I’m incredibly touched by what you are choosing to post on it (Only agreement here, with the posting on kids and parents and chocolate). I have been doing internet research for a while, observing your goings on and I’m REALLY happy to see where Popcorn ended up going and that you’re just doing SO MUCH STUFF all the time.
If possible, if you have scraps of e-time, I would love to be able to ask you questions on how you’re doing the things you’re doing- I’m just starting out with festival submissions way over on the other side of the U.S., but fondly remember the Popcorn days… PushStartPictures@hotmail.com
Have fun in Mumbai… one of my hometowns there…
MY GOODNESS, NISHA, THAT WAS SOMETHING ELSE, ONCE I FINALLY GOT IT TO PLAY ON MY ‘PUTER. AND A THANX THERE, TOO, TO STEPHANIE. WE WERE SITTING AT THE ‘PUTER WATCHING, AND I WAS ALREADY SAYING (IN MY MIND) “WTF” AND LAUGHING, OF COURSE.
IT WAS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU AND I HOPE TO HAVE THAT WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY AGAIN. YOU’RE A GREAT PERSON, NISHA, AND DON’T EVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU ANY DIFFERENT.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. “COSMOPOLITAN” WAS REALLY
GREAT, TOO. YOU ARE BLESSED WITH TALENT.
